In an effort to help contain the spread of the coronavirus, the Pearl S. Buck House, International Gift Shop, Cultural Center, and Welcome Center will be closed to the public effective Friday, March 13 until further notice. Although there have been no confirmed cases of the virus associated with Pearl S. Buck International, the health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, staff, and local community is our number one concern.
With an abundance of caution, we have increased our health and safety measures on the property following the best practices from the CDC, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely, following best practices according to local, state, and federal guidelines.
Based on the governor’s Stay at Home order issued Monday, March 23 for counties in Pennsylvania including Bucks County, our facilities will remain closed at least as long as the Stay at Home order remains in effect and until further notice. We will continue to closely monitor developments associated with the virus and will keep you informed of our plans moving forward. We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming you back as soon as possible and wish you good health.
If you have specific questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org regarding any of the above, and we will put you in touch with the correct staff member.
Thank you for your cooperation as we take important steps to ensure the safety of our guests, volunteers, staff, and the community. We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming you back soon.
