Pinoy Sari-Sari Store – Philippines (This project has been fully funded)
Location: Ormac City, Philippines
Beneficiaries: 100 sponsored children and their families
Background:
The pandemic increased the need for Filipino families living in poverty to have another means to support their livelihood. 35 Pilot Families will be given $100 each as their capital to start their own sari-sari (assorted) retail store. These 35 pilot families will pay it forward to one partner aspirant family each (35 Aspirant Families). These aspirant partners will receive $1 each day from pilot families for 100 days until they produce $100 and can build their own retail store.
Project Goal
Ensure that eventually all beneficiaries of PSBFP in the area of Ormoc will have their own retail store that can help them sustain their family’s basic needs.

- To help the sponsored families recover after the pandemic’s massive unemployment.
