Crowds Flock to Pearl S. Buck Estate for Annual Lunar New Year Celebration
Scores of guests, including many families with young children, gathered on Saturday, February 21, to celebrate the Year of the Horse at the historic Pearl S. Buck Estate in Bucks County.
Pearl S. Buck International’s annual Lunar New Year celebration was once again co-hosted with the Central Bucks Chinese-American Association, drawing visitors from across the region.
Guests enjoyed a vibrant lineup of traditional Chinese dance and musical performances, along with interactive cultural activities such as calligraphy, paper cutting, shadow puppetry, face painting, and chopstick lessons. The event also featured a Chinese fashion show, local food, coffee vendors, and complimentary tours of the Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark.
Additional highlights included Chinese zither performances and tea ceremony demonstrations, offering visitors a rich cultural experience. The celebration provided a fun, educational, and family friendly afternoon for all who attended.
