Fund A Project: Another Way to Help Our Children

We are so grateful to every one of our supporters who have chosen to sponsor a child or multiple children through our international humanitarian aid program. Your generosity provides educational, nutritional, health, psycho-social, and livelihood help to your child and we know many of you have built not only a friendship but a close relationship with your sponsored child or children over the years. Another way to help your child in addition to their family and community, is by making a donation to one of the many projects listed on our website. These projects fund much-needed specific programming, supplies, and initiatives in these same areas through either a one-time or ongoing donation. Some of these projects include:

• Life Skills Development for teens and young adults in the Philippines. This project teaches youth how to think rather than what to think, respecting their autonomy and equipping them with a portable skill set that they can apply to any situation, whether it’s choosing a career path or navigating a difficult social conflict. https://pearlsbuck.org/bbwp_projects/life-skills-development-philippines/
• Batteries for Electric Bikes for orphans in Vietnam. In the United States and other places, most children have access to buses, parents with vehicles, or public transportation to get to school. The orphans we serve in Vietnam, many of whom are living with HIV, must travel 40 kilometers to get to and from school each day. Because of the distance and their health, they are dependent on electric bikes to be able to go to and stay in school. • School Supplies for Rural Schools in Thailand. Small schools located in rural and remote communities face significant limitations in resources, staffing, and government funding.This project make sure rural and remote schools remain open and have access to essential supplies and learning materials to serve their students and the community. https://pearlsbuck.org/bbwp_projects/school-supplies-thailand/
