Vaccine Support for Orphans and Disadvantaged Children – Vietnam

Location: Vietnam
Beneficiaries: 341 children living in 4 orphanages
Background:

The Vaccine Support Project is both necessary and urgent, as it directly addresses the high risks of influenza and measles among disadvantaged children living in social protection centers. By providing timely vaccination, the project protects children’s health, prevents potential outbreaks, and ensures that they can maintain stable daily activities and uninterrupted schooling. Beyond disease prevention, it reduces financial and healthcare burdens, raises awareness of preventive medicine, and helps children feel cared for and supported. Ultimately, this initiative not only safeguards individual well-being but also promotes social equity, strengthens community immunity, and contributes to building a healthier future generation.

Project Goal

Provide influenza and measles vaccinations for disadvantaged children living in social protection centers. The primary goal of the project is to protect children from preventable diseases, reduce the risk of outbreaks, and create a safe, healthy environment that allows them to grow, study, and develop without the constant threat of illness.
