Gifts from caring people through Champions for Children make a life-changing difference for children, families, and communities in need overseas. Donations from Champions are used to support and sustain our humanitarian programs in the countries we serve in Asia and Africa and to aid collaboration and innovation among our offices and affiliates.
You Can Make a Difference
The children, families, and communities in our international programs suffer from poor nutrition, healthcare, and/or education. The generosity of compassionate people helps to improve their lives today and provide hope for a better future. By choosing to be a Champion for Children, you:
- Allow Pearl S. Buck International to support our affiliate and overseas offices with the implementation and facilitation of programs that alleviate hunger, keep families healthy, and keep children in schools, breaking the cycle of poverty
- Help us facilitate the collaboration and innovation among our offices and affiliates to develop service projects and programs such as building community wells, providing transportation to school, and generating surplus food and income for families through chicken farming and backyard gardening
