Pearl S. Buck International Welcomes New Board Member
Pearl S. Buck International is thrilled to welcome Dr. William V. Lewis, Jr. to its Board of Directors. For over 60 years Pearl S. Buck International, located in Bucks County, PA, has carried on the humanitarian, cross-cultural, and educational legacy of award-winning writer Pearl S. Buck through its international aid program, public and community programming and events, and tours of the Pearl S. Buck House, a National Historic Landmark museum.
Lewis, of Jenkins Twp., is the managing principal and portfolio manager for Lewis, Litwinsky and Associates of the Wells Fargo Financial Network in the Wilkes-Barre office. He serves as a Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and as a board member of the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation. He is a board member and past president of the Luzerne County Historical Society and serves on the board of the Hollenback Cemetery.
Lewis received Bachelor of Arts and MBA degrees from Wilkes University; a Master of Science in Financial Services degree from The American College of Financial Services; a Master of Arts degree from Pace University; and an MPA and doctorate from Lehigh University. He is a certified financial planner, a chartered financial consultant, and a certified portfolio manager. Lewis is a former national governor of the American Red Cross, a former board member of Family Services America, a former board member of the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers, and served on the National Advisory Council of the Center for the Study of the Presidency.
