PSBI Adds Christopher Dezzi to Board of Directors

Pearl S. Buck International is pleased to announce that Christopher Dezzi has joined its board of directors. 

Dezzi is the co-founder of The Dezzi Group, a boutique lobbying and government relations firm representing a variety of not for profit and for-profit clients in the areas of health and human services, arts and culture, real estate development, education, and energy. From 1996 to 2013, he served as the Vice President of the firm and in 2014, Dezzi became President. Since 1996, Dezzi has served as an advisor and volunteer to various campaigns at the federal, state and local level. He is also a registered lobbyist in the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.   

In addition to his new role on the Board of Directors for Pearl S. Buck International, Dezzi sits on a variety of other boards and committees throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond, including the Gladney Center for Adoption; Holy Redeemer Health System Talent & Retention Committee; Norwood Fontbonne Academy; and Mid-Penn Bank Advisory Council.  

In 2001, Dezzi was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of Philadelphia’s “40 Under 40.” His profile appears in Triumphs of the Human Spirit, a book which details profiles of cancer survivors. In 2014, he was awarded the “Ambassador of Hope” award from the City of Hope National Cancer Center for his service to the City of Hope and the cancer community and in 2022, Dezzi was named one of the Top 50 Lobbyists in Pennsylvania by City & State Magazine.   

Dezzi is a graduate of La Salle College High School. In 1996, he received his BA with dual majors in Political Science and English from La Salle University. Dezzi also holds an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He currently resides in Montgomery County with his wife and daughter.
