Join Us for Oktoberfest Oct. 22 at the Historic Pearl S. Buck Estate

Pearl S. Buck International is thrilled to host our annual family-friendly community Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 22 from 12-4 pm on the grounds of the Pearl S. Buck Estate, 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, PA 18944. 

Fun Activities for Kids and Adults

Bring your family and friends to this fun fall event, which will take place all throughout our beautiful 67-acre estate. Partake in delicious food & drink, including bratwurst, apple turnovers, pretzels, and beer. The beer will be provided by our Pouring It Forward Sponsor, Branch Creek Taphouse.  

There will be lots to do for both kids and adults! Take a free tour of the National Historic Landmark Pearl S. Buck House museum. Enjoy children’s activities, including: 

• Pumpkin painting 
• Sidewalk chalk 
• Arts and crafts – make a tambourine, make a fall owl, make an autumn lantern, and make a Korean Hanbok Day bookmark 
• Scavenger hunt 
• Temporary tattoos 
• Storytelling stations, including children’s stories by Pearl S. Buck and autumn stories from Asia 

Listen to the talented musical stylings of Polkadelphia, not your ordinary oompah band, playing traditional German and Polish favorites as well as more modern covers. Peruse our boutique Gift Shop for gifts and Pearl S. Buck souvenirs. Enjoy catching some NFL football games on the big screen inside our conference center – our Oktoberfest celebration will have something for everyone! 

Tickets are $20 per carload and can be purchased ahead of time or day-of at the gate.
