Pearl S. Buck International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. We use your contributions as efficiently and effectively as possible. Once again, we met all 20 of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance Standards for charitable accountability. The American Institute of Philanthropy (AIP) has included us among its listing of "Top Rated" charities and awarded us an "A" (Excellent) rating for use of charitable funds. Buck International the coveted Independent Charities Seal of Excellence award. This seal recognizes the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost efficiency. We are also the the first nonprofit organization in Bucks County, PA, awarded the Seal of Excellence for successfully completing the Standards for Excellence® certification program through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO).

The Code of Ethics expresses the values and philosophy of Pearl S. Buck International along with expectations of conduct for Board Directors, Employees, and Volunteers. Recognizing that adherence to the law provides a minimum standard, our goal is that all people who serve Pearl S. Buck International will observe high standards of business and personal ethics as they carry out their duties and responsibilities. Pearl S. Buck International also takes seriously its commitment to preserve, display, and make accessible the Pearl S. Buck House collection to support its mission and use its core values to be accountable to the public trust.
